SAFED for Vans

The initial Safe And Fuel Efficient Driving course piloted by the Department for Transport (DfT) for LGV drivers proved that fuel savings of 12-15% could be achieved with no increase in journey times and substantially less strain on transmission and braking components. It also had positive effects on collision reduction. Consequently a similar course was specifically devised for van drivers and LCVs, which Driving Risk Management is accredited to deliver.
